Hi, It's been a few days since my last data........busy lah, mostly out with hubby, satisfying our taste buds and a few duties, like banking (Hubby doesn't like to do internet banking...........anyway he just wants to bank in some money for my son in KL).............. not to mention accompanying my hubby for his outstation duties.
On Saturday, I attended my Uncle's 81st Birthday. It was quite grand wih the attendance of all (well mostly) cousins................and families. I've not seen them for decades....yes , you heard right........decades...........some have changed, some have not, the childish looks are there but maybe more flesh and for some less flesh...................My four cousin sisters (The daughters of the grand birthday boy) had put up a fabulous gathering and party. It was well organised and brought back some nostalgies with songs of yester years being played the whole night. They even had a slide show with old photos dug out from old albums. They were their own masters of ceremony.....................well, why would they want to use others when they are professionals in holding the microphones.................they are even better at it then most professionals............with their never ending jokes.
The ceremony started with the entrance of the grandchildren...............last in first out style......the youngest ones came in first, followed by the older ones.................as seen in the pictures.(ABOVE)
The relatives spent hours catching up with each other..............what better time than to do it at this moment.............a moment worth a million hours...........when would be the next gathering be, if ever, 5 yrs time? 10 yrs time? Some of us would maybe have walked out of the picture..............yeah, that's how life is, to know, to love, and then to part, is the saddest thing of every human heart, isin't it?
On the left here is the picture of the grand old man with his remaining sister (On his right) and hubby, his brother Henry Er and wife and my mum (Wife of his younger brother, my late father)
You can say the party was also a re-union of sorts, and was full of memories and recollections while it lasted...............I thought it was supposed to start at 7.p.m.but it dragged to 8.00p.m............biasa lah..........when is a party in Malaysia ever on time? That'll be the day!!.....It ends at around 11p.m.............roughly 4 hrs of catching up...........enough? I don't think so...................hopefully another apportunity will suffice in the near future.
And on the left here is a photo of me (In my uniform baju kurung and red tudung) with my mum, sis and family with my uncle.
