It's been one week since the school holidays started. And my daughter is bored to death (As both her brothers are currently studying and training in KL and Shah Alam) after completing her homework...........as for doing revision, she had to be in the right mood for it !!
Well, she found something to do , all right.............baking egg tarts..........I think this is the 4th time she had done it, taste good , though, she had include some cream cheese in the pastry and so the pastry is fluffy.
She made 18 of these tarts yesterday and only both of us to eat it, naturally some goes into the fridge and was reserved for the next day............... Guess who had to wash all the pans and bowls after that? But being a "good" mother, I hv to clear the kitchen, otherwise the cleaning isn't complete.
My daughter will be back to school on Monday (08.06.09) for her "Bengkel Band" as they have to practise for the band competition somewhere in June'09. The "Bengkel" will stretch until 11.06.09 and they have been invited to perform for some function on 12.06.09. There goes one week of her school holidays !!
Oh..Salina..the egg tarts look good !!...I've never tried to bake them before.Can i have the recipe?...
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is just like my daughter! She loves to bake..but I'm the one cleaning up!..Hmm..i saw on Jamie Oliver show that he does the same.His wife is the one cleaning up! Cook a storm and leave it all to the faithful wife..LOL..
